The geopolitical developments since the publication of The Tech Coup by Marietje Schaake have unfortunately led to a situation in which the measures needed to stop The Tech Coup, let alone reverse it, are becoming out of sight. Due to the reversal of public values and the dismantling of the international legal order by the Trump administration, democracy no longer regulates the market, but conversely, the market regulates democracy. This erosion of the rule of law is complete, unless citizens rise up en masse against this Double Tech Coup.
